Finary 1.0: the best portfolio tracker is live!

Finary was built for the modern-day investor: beautiful, comprehensive, and with real-time data.

Most of us still use spreadsheets or multiple apps to track our investments. Julien and I (Mounir) grew frustrated with this and we decided to build something for ourselves. We shared it with some friends who loved it. Finary was born. It grew very quickly and today, thousands of users are tracking over 700M€ on the platform. Ready for a spin?

What is Finary ?

Finary is a portfolio tracker that allows you to track performance across all of your assets & liabilities in real-time. No more wasting time switching between a stock tracker, a crypto exchange, and spreadsheets. Think of it as your personal finance OS.

You can securely connect over 10.000 banks & brokerage platforms across the US, Canada, & Europe. We also handle real estate, crypto, precious metals, startup investments, and many more. You can add absolutely everything. We do the heavy lifting in the background so that you can focus on what's most important to you.

The heart of the app is your (beautiful) Dashboard: it displays all the information you need about your net worth as well as your performance. Since prices are updated in real-time, you'll know exactly where you stand, down to the cent.

We organized your wealth into 3 categories:

  • Gross Worth: the combined value of all your assets
  • Net Worth: gross worth minus outstanding loans. This metric is especially useful for real estate investors, who generally take on a lot of leverage.
  • Financial Assets: your most liquid assets like stocks or crypto, which can quickly be sold.

Finary shows your unrealized profit & loss for each of these 3 categories. We also save your preferences regarding the default views: if you always want to see your financial assets first, that's what you'll see next time you visit your Dashboard.

Ever wondered how much your investment brought in on a specific day? You will find this information in your daily profit & loss graph. We also compute the P&L for the current day, making this graph extremely interactive.

Our newsfeed allows us to share important updates on your investments, like dividend payments or personalized performance reports.

Portfolio

The portfolio is where all you'll find your detailed investments. The stacked graph shows the big trends in your portfolio: you'll immediately see what performs, and what doesn't.

Below the graph, you see your assets split by category, with a P&L. The most popular ones:

  • Investment Accounts: Brokerage Account, 401(k), Roth IRA...
  • Real Estate: Residential & Commercial real estate worldwide.
  • Crypto: Exchanges as well as Ethereum & BTC wallets
  • Bank Accounts: Savings & Checking Accounts

Liabilities are apart are split between Mortgages & Credit Cards. Clicking on one of these sections allows you to navigate to the different sections of your portfolio.

There, you'll get all the information you need about one specific category (e.g. investment accounts): performance, asset allocation, price movements.

Since we handle multi-currency, you will see all the non-USD denominated assets you own in their original currency as well.

We know that the data you store on Finary is very personal. We don't share nor sell your data and our highly secured infrastructure was built to protect your data. You can read more about our security on our dedicated page.

To go even further, we encourage users to enable Two-Factor Authentification to secure their account.

What's next?

This is the beginning of our journey! We plan on adding a lot of amazing features in the coming months. Make sure to signup to test them before everybody else.
