The guide to getting started on Finary

Welcome to Finary! So that you can make the most of the features, we offer you an owner's tour.

Your dashboard

The dashboard is the heart of your Finary account. Here you will find all the most important information about your assets and their performance.

Let's start with one of the most requested features: real time data. Now, all you have to do is click on the magic button (visible at the top right), so that all of your assets can be updated. For the first time in your life, you know exactly what you have, down to the euro.

One click on this wonder is enough to launch the machine

Before we look at the various graphs, let's talk for a moment about notifications (on the right). Whenever we have important information to share with you, it will appear here.

Key information at a glance

A few examples : updating the value of your assets, successfully adding a bank, action required to re-synchronize an account, etc.

Let's move on to the 3 views that allow you to filter your assets:

The 3 heritage views just a click away
  • Gross heritage : all of your assets, i.e. all of your wealth
  • Net wealth : your gross assets - the capital remaining due from your loans, i.e. your wealth minus what you owe the banker. It is especially useful for real estate investors.
  • Financial assets : all of your liquid investments (PEA, AV, Crypto, etc.). It is also these financial investments that will be the most volatile in your assets.

We calculate your current unrealized gain or loss for each of these views (the number in green or red). Since some investors want to see their gross assets and others their net assets, we save your choice for more personalization. Changing your wealth view will also change the two elements just below.

Let's move on to the element dedicated to your Plus and depreciation. Investing is all well and good, but how much do I get out of it? You now know how much you have earned, every day, to the nearest euro.

Your daily added value, to the nearest euro

Finally, your asset allocation allows you to assess the level of diversification of your assets.

The chart is updated according to the view selected.

You can navigate from one section to another using the various menus.

Your wallet

As the name suggests, it includes all of your investments (as well as your liabilities). We will come back to it. You are welcomed by a superb curve for monitoring the evolution of your portfolio. Ideal for discovering which investment is profitable, and which is stagnating...

A detailed view of your investments

Just below, you can navigate to the different parts of your wallet. After numerous conversations with you, we have rethought the division of your data.

The main changes:

  • realty: this category now includes physical real estate as well as paper stone (the famous SCPIs).
  • Euro funds: the financial product preferred by the French now has its own dedicated category.
  • Booklets: a real safety mattress, booklets are becoming a separate category.
  • Bank accounts: your current expenses, anything that does not affect the investment.

On the passive side, credit cards like AMEX are now listed in a category dedicated to your loans.

Your banker's favorite section

By clicking on one of these categories, you will be able to navigate to its details.

Detail of a category

You will find all the information on an asset class on this page: the evolution, the distribution, all the lines with the plus or minus value.

Do you invest in precious metals? You are even shown images of your gold bars.
