The year 2024 kicks off with a bang, bringing new features at every level of the Finary rocket. Settle in comfortably, and let me show you what the team has cooked up for you.
💸 Generate passive income with your crypto
Have you invested in crypto on Finary and wish to put those tokens to work? Now you can! Thanks to our brand new Yield feature, you can now generate passive income on a selection of cryptocurrencies. We have prepared juicy APY’s* to make this launch even more memorable: 10% on Solana, 7% on Avalanche, 5% on Polygon and 2% on Bitcoin.
We give you access to lending. It consists of lending your cryptos to financial intermediaries in exchange for an interest rate. Paid daily, these rates vary from one crypto to another. Available for many cryptos, including Bitcoin, Solana, Avalanche, Polygon, Ripple and many more.
Our goal is to offer you attractive returns while minimizing risks**. To achieve this, we have partnered with Bitstamp and other leading players. Borrowers are rigorously selected, and the portfolio is constructed to maximize diversification. There have been no defaults on the portfolio to date. Discover more information here.
Putting your cryptos to work on Finary is as easy as pie. Go to Invest, then select the "Yield" section. Next, choose the cryptocurrency for which you wish to generate passive income and indicate the desired amount.
The time it takes to process your request varies from one cryptocurrency to another; it is generally a few days. As soon as the staking or lending is validated, you will start to accumulate interest. Remember to activate your notifications in the Settings so that you are notified of the payments!
Don't have any cryptocurrencies on Finary yet? No worries! Just buy some, then deposit them on Yield to start generating interest. Ready to put your cryptocurrencies to work?

💰 Budgeting made easy
A new "Budget" section appeared in your Finary account at the end of 2023. It adds a new string to your bow by allowing you to manage your finances and investments on a single platform.
The reception has been enthusiastic, and your valuable feedback in the community, support, or on social networks has helped us identify what still needs to be improved. You want more customization, automatic categorization, and control over the displayed data.
Let's start with smart rules; they allow you to easily and instantly recategorize transactions with a similar label. For example, you can decide to put all transactions including the words "AIRBNB" and "Payments" into a custom category "Rental Income". This rule will automatically apply to your past and future transactions.
A side note on categories: they are now customizable. You can choose the color and the icon associated with each of the categories you create.
This will allow you to create a tailor-made artwork thanks to the new cash flow diagram. This web exclusive, already known to some from my wealth analyses, allows you to visualize your financial flows and easily identify anomalies.
Finally, we give you control over the accounts & categories included in your budget by adding the option to exclude them as you wish. Don't want to see transfers? It's now possible! Do your professional accounts make your cash flow obsolete? Exclude them!
Lastly, we continue to improve our categorization model thanks to your numerous feedback.
