In April, we focused on fundamental aspects of personal finances. Thanks to our new features & many improvements, you will be able to make the right decisions to face the coming years with serenity.
🌎 Diversify your life
The world of finance can be a complex landscape to navigate, which is why we need tools to help investors make quicker and more informed decisions.
The Sector Diversification Score simplifies intricate investment data into an easy-to-understand metric, allowing you to quickly assess if your portfolio is well-diversified across various sectors and segments. Having a diversified portfolio is a powerful strategy, as it reduces risk and helps you capitalize on opportunities across different industries.
Our cutting-edge algorithm takes into account numerous factors, including the number of sectors and segments within your portfolio, as well as the concentration of investments in each. Not only does it provide valuable insights, but it also interprets your Score and offers possible steps to improve!
While today we're focusing on sector coverage, we're also exploring scoring other aspects of diversification like geographical diversification, which we hope to bring to you soon. We aim to empower you with the knowledge and tools you need to achieve your financial goals. The Sector Diversification Score is just one step in that journey.

📈 Not all performances are equal
Performance measurement is an essential aspect of investing. You can't improve what you don't measure. You asked for more granularity when analyzing your performance, and we delivered!
You now have several options to track your performance.
- Profit & loss, also called P&L, is the true measure of your performance. It is the difference between your average purchase price and the current price at a given time. It ignores deposits and withdrawals.
- Balance change: Measure the variation of your investments over a defined date range. This value takes into account capital gains and losses, deposits, and withdrawals.

✅ A few tweaks
- Allocation contributors (app): You can now dig deeper into your sector and geographical allocation and see the different stocks and ETFs contributing to each sector, country, and more!
- Dividends (app): We display a broad range of dividends: ETF, stocks, mutual funds, and SCPIs. You can now filter the displayed data between various asset types.
- Wealth Statement (web): More details are now visible on your statement: each of your startups, crowdlending & SCPIs investments is now listed. The look & feel of your PDF has also been improved.
- New integrations: Wise, Santander UK and 102 banks from Spain, Italy, Belgium or the Netherlands have been added to Finary.
