🔒 Security Is Our Top Priority

Like many banks and investment platforms, we’re seeing a rise in phishing campaigns by malicious actors impersonating Finary. Rest assured, no data breach has occurred on our infrastructure. Our investigation indicates that these scams stem from a recently uncovered dataset of French residents’ information compiled by cybersecurity specialists.

To help protect yourself against these attacks, please follow these best practices:

• Only install the Finary app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not offer a desktop application.
• Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your Finary account—and on every other service you use.
• Always verify the sender’s email address. Finary will only send messages from an @finary.com address.
• We will never call you and request that you make a transfer or withdrawal—whether in euros or cryptocurrency.

📝 A Reinvented Budget Experience

We've made major improvements to our Budget feature to provide you with an even more intuitive financial management experience tailored to your needs.

📆 Fully Customizable Analysis Periods

One of the most common requests from our users was for greater flexibility in selecting analysis date periods. We've listened to your feedback: you now have complete control over the analysis period of your budget.

For example, you can shift your monthly budget to start on your payday, precisely track your expenses during a vacation week, or analyze your finances over an extended period.

🔄 Automatic Detection of Internal Transfers

Previously, you had to manually exclude duplicates related to internal transfers—a task many found tedious. Finary now automatically detects these transfers and excludes them from your budget analysis. You can still manually adjust transactions in case of persistent errors.

We've leveraged these improvements to enhance the spending goals experience, now seamlessly working across all selected time frames, and unified the Mobile & Web experiences.
